The land is flat with loose soil and the water table is very high making constructions and sanitation works a real challenge. Based on technical assessment, Stub column are provided for the foundation and the grade beams for basement. Walling is with burnt bricks due to the abundant availability of cheap and excellent quality bricks made of alluvial soil in this Gangetic region.
